OH!! Jag looks like my Charlie I used to have!! beautiful!! Butterfly, I have three dogs and they all live inside my house. I haven't had a flare while having them. I've never heard that. I hope you get your cat back soon! I think animals have the power to keep you calm, and that would be the best thing for anyone.

Without my cat I think I would loose my mind.My cat Sammy is such a comfort.Sometimes he drives me nuts,he can really be a brat.He bites computer wires in half,so I wrapped my wires in towels.No more biting computer wires..yipppee!Then I find my cell phone charger wire biten in half... He loves to play with wires!
   He is the last cat I have out of four,the others got sick and died.Hes also a rescue.

I have two dogs at the moment ...

Chloe :   8 yrs, 10 months (Golden Retriever)
Forrest:  7 yrs, 5 months (Golden Retriever)
Hunter:   went to Rainbow Bridge Sept 15, 2007 due to lymhoma at age 7 (Golden Retriever)

Since Methusalah the hamster died ( he was 3 1/2 years old=130 years in hamster years), we now have adopted a guinea pig.  He is very sweet and definately a lap piggy.  The cats are terrified of this huge rodent we have added to the household.  The guinea pig is very curious and hops up to them and sniffs them.

The two I have left are Rascal and Zoe, at the bottom. We just put Rebel to sleep last wednesday. He bit my arm pretty bad. Wasn't the first time. But he was old, and the doctor thinks he was having seizures. He had really bad degenerative spinal disease and arthritis in his hips.. I miss him so much its not the same without him. He was 10 this year.

Shelby was the first dog I lost, he was 13 years old. He died in my arms while I was brushing him. He's buried in the back of our property.

Dixie   was only 2, we found her on the side of the road and kept her when no one claimed her. She was extremely smart. She died in my arms on the way to the Vet ER, it was a holiday and our local vet wasn't open. She died before we found the place  and we took her home and buried her with Shelby.

Then Rebel was next to go, and he was cremated but we didn't keep the ashes since they cremate so many dogs at one time.

Zoe and Rascal will be the last two dogs I ever have. I can't lose another one.

  So sorry to hear about Rebel. Didn't realize you lost him so recently. HUGS! Rebel had such a wonderful smile! Try and remember him happy and smiling when you think of him. It's so hard to say good-bye though, isn't it?!

I know you say you'll never have another but ... never say never. ;)
