I don't know if anything they can do will help. I can only pray. I noticed when I got my medical  insurance statement, they insurance company makes WAY more money than the doctor. It's ridiculous.

really?  you can see the breakdown of the cost distribution???  i didn't know that.
 
honestly, and i am a bit embarrassed to say this, but i can't look at my medical bills anymore.  it sends me into a panic attack.  john has to take care of all that financial bs.  i just start crying and freaking out. 
i wonder if it shows that on our statements.  i'm going to mention that to john.
 
and about the proposal....who knows anything anymore.  i think it's all just a matter of who wants to do their damn job now.  i understand that there are some who are willing to try and get something good accomplished and then there are those who just play partisan/lobbyist games. 
 
and no matter what proposal gets the most attention....it's going to take years for it to become in effect or make a difference to anyone.

Another socialist move. We need to defeat this and all other moves against the constitution. State rights are being trampled.
 
Remember last year when they passed the credit card restrictions. Now look some people cannot get credit cards and the cost and protential new cost is going against the people that the new rules were to help. Government doesn't know how to run a business and therefore screws up when they try.

I heard this proposal is the same as the old ones last night. So it sounds like the same program with a different name. They gotta get this straight that's for sure. But yeah, the insurance makes a killing, not the doctor.

My daughter was telling me how much the doctor she works for gets after the insurance takes their part. It's ridiculous.

But our new insurance breaks it down really cool. It's not complicated at all. it shows how much the bill was, how much was allowed to the doctor, and then how much we paid out of pocket and how much we saved. Our old insurance didn't do this.

I wish they would just stop with this whole idea.

I don't want the Gov telling me who what where and when I can see a Dr.  And that is where it will go from here.
